Story
We're a ragtag group of mates and family from across Melbourne joining together to raise funds for the ASRC through participating in the 10km event of the Virtual Melbourne Marathon, taking place this December!
ASRC do great work for asylum seekers and refugees in Australia, including offering legal counsel, providing access to basic needs, and assisting with housing and employment. They're a fantastic charity based on humanist ideals of compassion and community, and we're stoked to be able to support them!

ASRC Footscray (Asylum Seeker Resource Centre)
The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement.
As an independent not for profit organisation, we are owned and run by our community. Our programs empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well-being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
We assist over 7,000 people seeking asylum each year from our centres in Footscray and Dandenong, Victoria.
